PARIS, July 17 (Reuters) – An association of EDF worker shareholders announced on Sunday their plan to sue the French state pertaining to its nationalisation of the ability large.
“Right now the state demands to describe alone for the management as extremely-bulk stakeholder of the organization,” the association “Energie en steps” reported in a assertion.
The association retains that the government’s decision goes towards the fascination of the business and the minority shareholders, the assertion extra.
The French government, which previously has 84% of EDF, introduced earlier this month it would nationalise the enterprise, which would give it far more control around a revamp of the financial debt-laden team whilst contending with a European power disaster.
